THE LOCK KEEPERS COTTAGE
at the GÖta Kanal
Spend the night in a lovely Lock Keeper’s Cottage just by the canal. Once home to the lock keeper of Norrkvarn, the house also featured in the Swedish movie “Göta kanal 1″.
The cottage comes with a cosy and welcoming garden where you can play, relax or roast your freshly caught fish. A fishing permit is included in the price. If you are up for a swim, you can use the jetty right next to the garden to comfortably get in and out of the Göta Canal.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bed alcove with a total of 7 beds, a living room with sofa, armchairs and TV, a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a large and fully equipped kitchen. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.
The Lock Keeper’s Cottage is smoke-free; pets are not allowed.
Enjoy your stay to the fullest and upgrade your cottage rental with a final cleaning.
If you wish to clean the cottage yourself, please make sure to leave the rooms in the same condition you have found them.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be ordered at the Norrqvarn restaurant only one hundred metres from the cottage. You are also welcome to rent bicycles at the reception.
