Then you should book a night in a Mushroom or a Tree stump!
The chainsaw artist Sören Niklasson has created these four houses of wood, concrete and plywood; The fly mushroom, Karljohans mushroom, Lilla Stubben and Stora Stubben.
Here you live in the middle of nature, near the Göta canal with the lock area and the Children’s Mini Canal.
You check in at the reception at Norrqvarn.
After a short walk you come to the forest hill and the Mushrooms and the Tree Stumps.
Mushrooms and Tree Stumps have no bathroom or running water. On the hill there is a service Tree Stump with WC and cleaningcloset. In the hotel building in our guest harbor service, there are several showers and WC.
When you stay in a Mushroom or Tree Sstump, you choose if you want to bring your own bed linen or want rent it, if you want to clean yourself or book departure cleaning, if you want to cook your own breakfast or book our delicious hotel breakfast!
All possible options you add directly to your booking.
In Mushrooms and Tree Stumps there are is refrigerator and a waterkettle. No kitchen equipment. Seating groups are outside in the nature at each cottage.
For those who want to cook their own meal there is a barbecue area with seating at the wind shelter just next to the Göta Canal, a short walk from the accommodation. Remember to bring your own equipment such as wood / charcoal, plates, cutlery, glass etc., and what you want to grill of course!
The cabins are open May – September.
If you stay in a Mushroom or Stump you also have acces to the Mini Göta Kanal!

Inside Norrqvarn there is a restaurant, which during the high season, June, July and August is open every day for breakfast, lunch and evening menu. During May and September we are open on weekends. There is also a bar, TV, WiFi, InfoPoint and bicycle rental.

NOTE! Unfortunately, our four-legged friends with fur are not welcome in Mushrooms and Stumps.
