Book a bicycle package with professional guide and enjoy both the beautiful surrounding nature,
delicious food and a historical experience beyond the usual.
Together we ride 30 kilometers on the old route between Sjötorp and Hajstorp and back.

The journey begins in summer-idyllic Sjötorp,
One of the highlights of the trip is Norrqvarn, where history and present are merged into a real channel oasis.
Here you can enjoy a good lunch in the restaurant, or have a picnic at the canal.

The destination is the cozy Hajstorp.
If you want, you can visit Hajstorps Slusscafé to enjoy a lovely party.

Sweden’s largest construction and visitor destination holds an almost unimaginably rich history.Did you know that there were already plans in the 18th century to tie up the North Sea and the Baltic Sea?
That the bicycle paths along the canal were once trampled by oxen that drew heavy vessels.

After this exciting day, have a nice evening at Norrqvarn Hotell & Konferens, with a delicious dinner,
and where comfortable beds are waiting for tired legs.The stay at Norrqvarn ends with a delicious breakfast buffet the following morning.
Then there is time to discover more places along the Göta Canal.
